Will's official due date was on Thursday the 29th, which would have made us birthday twins!
That would have been so fun, but I am glad that he will have his own special day and he doesn't have to share with mommy.
He had his 2 week checkup on Thursday and his Jaundice Levels finally dropped! WooHoo! They are still high, but they will slowly start to drop over the next few weeks. The Dr. said since they have pretty much determined it is Breast Milk Jaundice we don't need to poke him anymore. Yay! He was also impressed by his weight gain. He surpassed his birth weight of 7lbs 14oz and weighted in at 8lbs 2 ozs. He likes his food!
My birthday day was extra special this year because I got to spend it with Dan (it seems like he is usually gone on my birthday) and my two sweet kiddos.....
They surprised me with an IPad 2 for my birthday! I was speechless when I opened the package. Liz has been giving me lessons on how to download apps and stuff! :)
I also got to spend my birthday with my parents who flew in for Will's births. It has been so awesome having them here and I love them so much! It has been a year and a half since I have seen my dad.
We celebrated with the traditional Strawberry Shortcake. Yum! Dan's birthday is on Sunday and we are making a Deep Dark Chocolate Cake. Double Yum!
Liz left with my parents yesterday for a two day trip to Mrytle Beach...lucky her! I can't wait to see the pictures when they get back.
Dan's two week also started yesterday, so it has been nice spending some extra time with my two favorite guys!
Tomorrow Will will be 2 weeks old and we are going to do a photoshoot with Will, Liz and the grandparents. I can't wait!
